UPDATE 5/30/07: Police arrested and charged John Lawrence McCallister in this crime. He was actually also wanted in Ohio on stolen vehicle charges, according to Charleston Police. He's expected to be extradited to Ohio to face charges there.

For many adults, buying cigarettes and beer is not something out of the ordinary--or even something illegal.

But police say a local man used a stolen credit card to pay for those things and they need your help to catch him.

The Charleston Police Department has named the man pictured one of Charleston's Most Wanted.

He's the one in the white shirt with the stripe across his chest. This is surveillance video from the Exxon One Stop on Lee Street--on the west side.

Detectives say the credit card this man used: was stolen from a car that was broken into on Washington Street West. They say he appeared to come and go on foot.

Call the Charleston Detective Bureau at (304) 348-6480 if you can help identify or catch him. Detective A.K. Davis is handling the case.
