ORIGINAL STORY:
Police say two bold thieves went on a shopping spree with a stolen credit card -- but part of the crime was caught on tape. Now detectives need your help to identify the suspects. The Charleston Police Department has named the woman and man shown in the surveillance pictures below two of Charleston's Most Wanted.

Detectives tell us that on May 26th, this couple stole a purse out of a car at the Marquee Cinemas at Southridge. The victim was unloading goods for a party at the theater -- and while she was taking a load inside, investigators say the suspects stole her purse from the car.

Police say the woman and man immediately went to the Home Depot at Southridge and bought a $700 DeWalt pressure washer. Then, police say they headed straight for the home depot in Teays Valley where they cashed in on another $800 worth of tools: a chainsaw and a tool set.

Detectives say they believe the two suspects are professional thieves -- and my be selling the tools for cash.

Investigators also told WSAZ these suspects may be connected to other break-ins in the Southridge area.

If you have any information about the pair, call Detective Snodgrass at the Charleston Police Department: (304) 348-6480.
