UPDATE DECEMBER 19, 2007:
Charleston Police say the man in the surveillance picture is Kelly O'Connor -- and he turned himself in after detectives got a tip and started following leads.

O'Connor is from South Charleston -- and posted bond after his arrest.

Police are on the hunt for one of Charleston's Most Wanted: caught on camera stealing a monitor.

The picture (below) is from surveillance cameras at the Civic Center.

Detectives say that on July 17 at about 10:00pm, the suspect stole a monitor that was sitting on a display table.

Investigators say that in the picture, you can see how he crawled under the table to find out where the monitor was plugged in before he took it.

In the background of the picture, note the sign with the smiley face. It's a notice that the area is under video surveillance.

Police need your help to identify this man.

If you have any information, call Detective Workman at the Charleston Police Department: (304) 348-6480.
