CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston Police arrested more than a dozen people during a warrant sweep this week.
Police say 17 officers participated in the sweep on Monday evening.
They arrested 17 people on 22 different charges ranging from traffic offenses to fraud and domestic battery.
They also cited someone for possession of marijuana after they were arrested for the warrant.
Charleston Police say they plan to conduct several more sweeps throughout the next few months.
The following were arrested in the sweep:
Timothy Young, State Capias – Permitting DUI
Allen Muzzle, State Capias – Aggravated DUI
Gregory Crouch, State Capias – DUI, No Proof of Insurance
Jasmine Woodrum, State Warrant – Misdemeanor Embezzlement
Marika Davidson, Municipal Capias – Shoplifting, No operators
Zachary Cooper, State Capias – DUI
Alan Green, Municipal Capias – Shoplifting, Open Container 2nd Offense
Kim Lee, Family Court Capias – Nonpayment of child support
Maya Clark, Municipal Capias – No operators, Seatbelt Viol., No Insurance
Lisa Singleton, State Warrant – Domestic Battery
Brian England, State Warrant – Transferring/Receiving Stolen Property
Chester Heavener, State Warrant – Driving on revoked operators DUI
Carl Walls, Municipal Capias – Open Container
Mark Armbrester, Municipal Capias – Marijuana 2nd Offense
Felicia Belcher, Municipal Capias – Petit Larceny x 2
Jevon Belcher, State Warrant – Domestic Battery
Paula Sue Dean, State and Municipal Capias – Domestic Battery, Public Intox
