UPDATE: I-77 Reopens After Two Separate Accidents

UPDATE 9/12/13 @ 8:55 a.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The southbound lanes of Interstate 77 in Charleston have reopened to traffic.

Two accidents were reported just before 8 a.m. near the Leon Sullivan Way exit.

911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com no one was hurt in either accident. No other details were available.

Traffic was backed up for nearly a hour before the road reopened.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The southbound lanes of Interstate 77 in Charleston are closed due to two separate accidents.

The accidents were reported just before 8 a.m. near the Leon Sullivan Way exit.

911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com no one was hurt in either accident. No other details were available.

Again, the southbound lanes are closed at this time.
