CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston was recognized Tuesday morning on "The Today Show" as leading the way nationally for a housing market recovery.
Real estate analyst Barbara Corocoran said the capital city is a great place to be.
She said the city has an unemployment rate of less than eight percent, and the housing prices in the city have stopped falling and are beginning to move higher.
She also says, culturally, the city is recovering from the recession. Other cities on Corcoran's list include Memphis, Pittsburgh, Phoenix and San Francisco.
