Risin' Dough Bakery Opens in South Charleston

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The smell of freshly baked bread, cakes and cookies rivals few others. Risin' Dough, a new South Charleston bakery, is providing plenty of those delightful aromas.

Some customers already are saying it boasts the best bread in town. Whatever the case, Risin' Dough Bakery is rising to the occasion, moving their business from Charleston's West Side to South Charleston.

The bakery's employees actually came up with a specialty cookie for their new home. The call it the "Mound Cookie" -- resembling the Native American mound in South Charleston.

Risin' Dough Bakery is located on D Street.
