Road in Sissonville Reopens After Accident

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Martins Branch Road in Sissonville is back open to traffic after an accident late Monday night.

The accident caused a tree to fall on the road. A crew with the Division of Highways worked to clean up the debris.

The road was closed for several hours before it reopened.

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A car accident that caused a tree to fall Monday evening led to Martins Branch Road remaining closed late Monday night as crews cleaned up the scene, Metro 911 dispatchers say.

The driver was not hurt in the crash.

As of 11 p.m. Monday, the roadway remained closed as Division of Highways workers cleaned up debris.
