Accident Reported Along Campbells Creek Drive

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews responded to an early morning accident in Kanawha County.

The accident was reported just before 7:00 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of Campbells Creek Drive. That's just before Coal Fork Road.

Emergency crews tell WSAZ.com the man was driving east on Campbells Creek Drive when he lost control and flew off the roadway. His car landed on its side.

The driver was able to walk to the ambulance, according to emergency crews. He was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

One lane of Campbells Creek Drive is closed at this time, but the road is expected to reopen by 8:00 a.m. Friday.
