KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An accident caused some minor delays for drivers along Interstate 77 near Charleston.

The accident was reported about 7:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 just past the Edens Fork exit.

Emergency crews at the scene tell WSAZ.com the driver of a car was heading south when he attempted to pass another car. The driver told police he didn't realize a truck hauling a trailer was also going slow and he drove right underneath the back of the trailer.

The driver of the truck felt something so he pulled over on the shoulder, dragging the car that was stuck under the trailer.
