CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A shoplifting attempt took a dangerous turn and put a suspect behind bars Saturday.
Police say Bilal Lyles tried to steal merchandise from the Gabriel Brothers store in Kanawha City.
It all happened at about 7 p.m.
Store employees tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen they tackled him to the ground.
Police say Lyles then pulled out a gun and threatened store workers.
No one was hurt. Lyles was arrested.
Lyles is 20-years-old and police say he has a criminal history of drugs and assault charges.
