UPDATE: Deputies Investigating Armed Robbery at 7-Eleven in Cross Lanes, W.Va.

CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Cross Lanes.

The robbery happened at 9:40 p.m. at the 7-Eleven store on Big Tyler Road.

Deputies say a man wearing a ski mask walked into the store, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The clerk says the man was also wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes during the robbery.

He was able to get away with some money.

CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An armed robbery happened Monday night at the 7-Eleven convenience mart in the 5300 block of Big Tyler Road, Metro 911 dispatchers say.

It was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.

Dispatchers say a man wearing a mask walked into the business with a handgun and demanded money. The amount of cash the man got away with was not disclosed. His description also was not immediately available.

No one was hurt.

Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.
