Arrest Made in Charleston Stabbing

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A stabbing in Charleston has sent one man to the hospital and another man to jail.

It happened just after 1:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Ohio Avenue.

Charleston police say the victim, Dallas "Bo" McGhee was stabbed in his side, and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police have arrested Roosevelt Walker, 72, in connection with the stabbing. He's being charged with malicious wounding.

Detectives say it started as an argument between the two men. They say McGhee had a baby with him at the time. The baby was taken to a grandmother's. Child Protective Services is now involved.
