SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash in South Charleston.
It happened at the intersection of MacCorkle Avenue and Ashby Avenue about noon on Monday.
Witnesses tell WSAZ.com, the driver of one of the cars ran a red light and caused the crash.
MacCorkle Avenue was closed for about a half hour, but it is back open now.
No word if charges will be filed in the crash.

Kanawha County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com two cars collided at the intersection and two people have been taken to the hospital.
There is no word on how long the roadway will be closed in both directions.
