UPDATE 4/10/13 @ 6:20 p.m.
DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A driver veered off the roadway and plowed into a car wash, barely missing people waiting at a bus stop, and it was all caught on camera.
The TLC Car Wash in downtown Dunbar is back open, at least partially, since there are no driers now. Police say the driver of a large SUV took them out.
"It just took the wind right out of me," owner Terry Petry said. "I gathered myself real quick, called 911 to get some help down here."
Dramatic video captured on the car wash security camera shows the crash as it happened. The driver is seen swerving on Dunbar Avenue, hopping the curb and sideswiping a sign.
"When I heard the crash, I looked up and I just saw the car coming probably a couple feet of the ground -- enough to clear the bushes," Petry said.
Petry owns the car wash and a car repair shop. He says the crash made a big impact on his bottom line. Petry says it's not just the cost of repairs to his business, but he has seen less business and cars coming though since the crash.
Petry says about 50 cars usually roll through the car wash each day. But now, with no driers, he estimates 20 to 25 are coming though.
"When I look at the building, I get depressed, it's just depressing," Petry said.
The silver lining may be the people waiting at the bus stop who escaped unscathed. Some of them were seen in the surveillance video -- running after hearing or seeing the initial crash.
"That's the amazing part," Petry said. "That the people that's normally here -- no one got hurt."
Petry says the driver's foot was stuck on the accelerator. Police say he suffered from a medical condition. A worker at the car wash was able to turn off the key.
Petry says the nightmare keeps replaying in his mind, knowing what happened could have been so much worse. He says the driver was released from the hospital a couple days ago.
Police say the driver will not face any charges.
Police tell WSAZ.com, the driver of the SUV was heading west on Dunbar Avenue about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

No one else was hurt in the accident.
The owner of the car wash tells WSAZ.com, his business will be closed for at least three weeks as he tries to clean up the mess.
