KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman seriously hurt in a car crash on I-77 in Kanawha County last week has died.
Officials at Leavitt Funeral Home tell WSAZ.com that Diana Douin died over the weekend from injuries she sustained in the accident.
State Police say she crossed the median and hit a tractor trailer head on .
It happened Thursday night near the Sissonville exit.
Douin was 68-years-old and from Florida.
This after dispatchers say a car traveling north crossed the median and hit a tractor-trailer head-on just before 8:15 p.m. Thursday.
A Chevy Silverado truck was also involved in the crash.
Both southbound lanes and one northbound lane in the area were closed but have since reopened.
One person was taken to the hospital. No word on their condition.
