UPDATE: Interstate 64 WB Back Open After Crash

KANAWHA COUNTY, W. Va (WSAZ) -- All westbound lanes of Interstate 64 in Kanawha County are back open after a pile-up crash.

Six cars crashed near the Cross Lanes Exit just before 6 p.m. Tuesday night. Three people were taken to the hospital.

Rescue crews had to cut several victims out of their vehicles.

No word on what caused the crash.

CHARLESTON, W.Va (WSAZ) -- The westbound lanes of Interstate 64 are closed after a six-car crash.

It happened before 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Cross Lanes exit.

Metro 911 dispatchers say several victims are still trapped in their vehicles and rescue crews are working to get them out safely.

No word on any injuries.
