UPDATE 8/22/12 @ 11:05 p.m.
CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The stabbing Tuesday outside T.G.I. Friday's appears to be a crime of passion, Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies tell WSAZ.com.
A man was stabbed in the chest near the franchise -- reportedly the result of a love triangle issue.
Deputies said two men appeared to have been involved with a woman. They say about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Tony Blankenship stabbed another man in the chest with a pocket knife. Both men were employees of the restaurant.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and Blankenship was taken into custody.
"This is not job related at all," Kanawha Sheriff's Sgt. B.W. Sparks said. "They were off the clock."
The restaurant manager confirms both men worked there, but neither was on the clock when the stabbing happened.
Dispatchers say the stabbing happened at the T.G.I. Friday's just after 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Dispatchers say one man has been stabbed and another has been detained.
We don't know how badly the man has been hurt.
