KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Both northbound lanes of the W.Va. Turnpike are back open late Tuesday night between the Paint Creek and Sharon exits, dispatchers say.
A tractor-trailer carrying merchandise to a regional Lowe's store overturned earlier Tuesday, snarling northbound traffic on the turnpike.
No one was hurt in the accident.
The left lane is open, but the right lane remains closed for the safety of wreck cleanup crews. The tractor-trailer is not blocking any lanes of travel.
The wreckage is between the Paint Creek and Sharon exits.
Workers are currently transferring the semi truck's load to another semi. It was full of merchandise headed to a Lowe's store.
The right lane is expected to be closed for a while.
