KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The northbound lanes of Interstate 77 have reopened near the Haines Branch exit in Sissonville after a tractor-trailer accident earlier Tuesday.

It happened about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The driver of a tractor-trailer lost control and landed in the median.

The semi was carrying flowers and caught on fire. Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out.

No one was hurt.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A tractor-trailer has been involved in a crash on I-77 in Kanawha County.

The accident happened near the Haines Branch exit in Sissonville about 1:30 p.m.

Police say the driver of the truck lost control and ended up in the median.

The truck which was carrying flowers caught fire. Firefighters were able to get the fire put out quickly.

Police say the northbound lanes of the interstate are closed. The southbound have just reopened.

No one has been hurt in the crash.

Dispatchers are asking drivers to avoid the area.
