The crash happened about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Jackson Street and Ruffner Avenue.

Police say the driver of a red truck ran a stop sign and hit a van. The impact of the crash caused the truck to spin around and hit the side of a police cruiser.

No one was hurt in the accident.

The driver of the truck will be given a ticket for running the stop sign. The driver of the van will also be ticketed for driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
