I-64 West Exit Ramp Reopens at Institute after Crane Hits Bridge

INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The exit and entrance ramps along I-64 West are back open after a truck carrying a crane hit the bottom of a bridge.

Dispatchers say the truck was getting off the interstate and going under the interstate overpass, when it hit the bottom the bridge that carries the westbound traffic of Interstate 64.

No one was hurt in the accident.

Bridge inspectors were called to the scene to take a look at the bridge, but they didn't find any problems.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The exit and entrance ramps along I-64 West are closed at the Institute exit after a truck carrying a crane hit the bottom of a bridge.

Dispatchers say the truck was getting off the interstate and going under the interstate overpass, when it hit the bottom the bridge that carries the westbound traffic of Interstate 64.

No one was hurt in the accident.

Dispatchers say the crane fell off the truck after it hit the bridge.
