Shooting Reported in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston police confirm to WSAZ.com a man was shot in the leg overnight.

It happened just before 4:00 this morning at 1407 Stuart St. in Charleston.

According to the Charleston Police Department, Brian Mitchell answered his door and spoke with a male whom he did not know. Mitchell told police the man then fired three shots, one of which hit him in the leg.

Mitchell was taken to the hospital in good condition, and there are no suspects at this time.
