Corridor G Reopens in Charleston After Accident, 4 Hurt

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The northbound lanes of Corridor G in Charleston have reopened after a two vehicle accident.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Road.

Charleston Police say a car was traveling south on Corridor G when the driver attempted to make a left hand turn on Oakwood Road and collided with a Jeep traveling north.

Four people were taken to the hospital, three people from the car and one from the Jeep. No word on the extent of the injuries.

The lanes reopened about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A two vehicle accident has closed two lanes of Corridor G in Charleston.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Road.

Kanawha County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the northbound lanes are shut down at the intersection of Oakwood Road and Corridor G.

Charleston Police say a car was traveling south on Corridor G when the driver attempted to make a left hand turn on Oakwood Road and collided with a Jeep traveling north.

Four people were taken to the hospital, three people from the car and one from the Jeep. No word on the extent of the injuries.
