CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire investigators are still trying to figure out what caused an early morning fire in Charleston.
The fire was reported at 7:00 a.m. at 1525 Rambler Road.
Firefighters tell WSAZ.com the fire had been burning for a while and burned a hole in the floor.
Investigators spent several hours at the scene trying to figure out the cause.
The homeowner was not home at the time of the fire, because she was in the hospital. Firefighters say they are still waiting to talk to her.
Oakwood Road between Bridge Road and Observatory Road was closed for a couple of hours because a hose was across the road.
