I-64E in Kanawha Reopens After Accident

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 have reopened near the Cross Lanes exit after an accident.

The accident was reported about 10 a.m. Thursday near the 47 mile marker.

911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com no one was hurt.

The interstate was closed for nearly an hour while the accident was cleaned up.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is urging drivers to use extra caution because the interstate is extremely slick between the Cross Lanes exit and Dunbar exit.
