UPDATE: I-64W Reopens in Putnam After Rollover Accident

UPDATE @ 9:15 a.m.
PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is moving again along Interstate 64 in Putnam County after a single-vehicle accident.

The accident was reported just after 7 a.m. Monday at exit 40. That's near the Teays Valley exit.

Putnam County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the fast lane was closed after a car rolled over and landed on its side.

Traffic was backed up in both directions until the accident was cleared.

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Traffic is backed up along Interstate 64 west after a single vehicle accident in Putnam County.

The accident was reported just after 7 a.m. Monday at exit 40. That's near the Teays Valley exit.

Putnam County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the fast lane is closed while crews clear the accident scene.

No word on any injuries.

Traffic along I-64 is backed up in both directions. Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
