UPDATE: Police Chase Along I-77 Near Malden Ends in Crash; Two Arrested

UPDATE 4/6/12 @ 9:40 p.m.
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two men were arrested Friday afternoon after a police chase that ended in a crash.

It started about 1 p.m. on Interstate 77 near Malden. Police spotted a vehicle they believed was related to a warrant executed earlier Friday.

The driver sped off, and a chase began. It ended when the car crashed into a guardrail on Route 94 near the Marmet exit.

Both men in the car were arrested.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A police chase along Interstate 77 has ended in a crash.

The chase was reported at 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 near Malden.

Kanawha County 911 Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the driver crashed the vehicle near the Marmet exit.

No other information is being released.
