Charleston Streets Reopen After Suspicious Vehicle Incident

The streets in Charleston that were closed Thursday while police investigated a suspicious car have been reopened.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The streets in Charleston that were closed Thursday while police investigated a suspicious car have been reopened.

Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com Virginia Street and Ohio Avenue were blocked after someone reported a suspicious vehicle that was left on the parking lot of One Main Financial.

There was a note found on the dash that says "Open at Your Own Risk," according to the police.

The bomb dogs with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad were called to the scene to help with the investigation. Police say the dogs did alert them that something was there.

The full bomb squad was called to the scene and police say they didn't find anything in the car.

The streets were reopened about 11:30 a.m. when investigators cleared the scene.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A couple of streets in Charleston Police have been closed due to an investigation of a suspicious vehicle.

Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com there is a suspicious vehicle that was left on the parking lot of One Main Financial. Virginia Street and Ohio Avenue are blocked at this time.

There was a note found on the dash that says "Open at Your Own Risk," according to the police.

A full crew with the bomb squad was called to the scene. They are now searching the car.
