ORIGINAL STORY
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A boil water alert has been issued for part of Kanawha County.

A spokesperson with West Virginia American Water tells WSAZ.com that nearly 1,000 customers in the Campbells Creek area need to boil their water for at least a minute.

That's because a power outage at a pump station has drained a storage tank.

Crews are working Wednesday to fix the problem.
