Boil Water Advisory Issued in Poca

POCA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- About 100 West Virginia American Water customers in Poca are under a boil water advisory, after a water main break.

911 Dispatchers say the break was fixed about 4 a.m. Friday, but the boil advisory will remain in place until further notice.

The affected area includes Main Street/Rt. 62 from Silver Street to the Laurel Subdivision, Center Street, Poca Circle, Childers Lane, Oklahoma Avenue and the Laurel Subdivision.

Anyone in those areas should boil their water for at least one minute before cooking, drinking, brushing teeth, or giving to pets.
