PUTNAM COUNTY, W.VA. (WSAZ) -- A man was injured when his vehicle crashed into the back of a tractor trailer.
The accident happened at 5:58 a.m. Thursday on Route 25 near the Nitro exit in Putnam County.
A 911 dispatcher tells WSAZ.com the vehicle went underneath the truck.
The driver was trapped in his vehicle and it took nearly an hour for emergency crews to free the driver.
The person was taken to the hospital. A name and condition haven't been released.
Traffic was shut down for a while Thursday, but is now moving again.
