CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Rib lovers in the Kanawha Valley are in for a blast from the past.
The Mardi Gras Casino and Resort announced it's menu will feature Charleston Mayor Danny Jones' famous barbecue ribs. The mayor was at the casino Thursday showing the cooks how it's done.
You'll remember its been about 20 years since "Danny's Ribhouse" was open in Nitro.
Major Jones tells WSAZ.com he's glad he can share his delicious recipe with everyone at the casino.
"It's a very good product. They were famous when I sold them," Mayor Jones said. "If these people want to take, if the track wants to take it then they will be famous again."
The ribs will be on the casino's restaurant menu every Thursday night.
