CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The boil water advisory for nearly 200 Charleston residents has been lifted.

West Virginia American Water says the advisory was issued Saturday morning after multiple water main breaks in Charleston.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Nearly 200 people in Charleston are under a boil water advisory Saturday morning.

West Virginia American Water says the advisory was issued after multiple water main breaks in Charleston.

The affected areas include:
2950 Pennsylvania avenue to 3230 Pennsylvania Avenue
John Wesley Drive
Seneca Drive
Crestwood Drive from Pennsylvania avenue to Puppy Lane
Varsity Drive
Industrial Street
Viking Road
Ruth Street
Avondale Road
Church Road
Elkdale Road.

Crews are working to repair the water main breaks as quickly as possible. Customers are asked to boil water until further notice.
