CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The city of Charleston has canceled refuse service for Tuesday due to the weather.
The city's public works director says the service was canceled due to the extreme cold weather and the safety of employees.
Gary Taylor says the city will use the same schedule it did during the past holiday season to catch up on trash pickup.
People who normally get service Tuesday will be picked up Wednesday.
Wednesday routes will be picked up Thursday.
Thursday routes will be picked up Friday.
Friday routes will be picked up Saturday.
