CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A plan to ban certain types of businesses on Charleston's East End is moving forward.
The East End Main Street program wants to keep out Bail Bondsmen, check cashing services, adult businesses and gambling establishments.
The Urban Renewal Authority voted Wednesday to send the plan on to City Council for a full vote.
Community leaders say keeping these businesses away will only help the neighborhood in the future.
