CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston Police are investigating two stabbings that happened within 24 hours of each other, but they don't believe they're connected.
The first stabbing happened Wednesday about 7 p.m. along Randolph Street.
Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com Shomon Tenant, 26, stabbed Shawn Tenant, 25. No other details are available at this time.
Tenant is charged with malicious wounding.
Meanwhile, another stabbing happened about 6 a.m. Thursday at 1548 Dixie Street. Police say two men were fighting and one was stabbed.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but he is not cooperating with police, according to investigators. So far no arrest has been made.
No names have been released.
