Coal Truck Loses Load on Route 60 in Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A coal truck lost its load in eastern Kanawha County Monday morning.

West Virginia State Police tell WSAZ.com the driver of the coal truck was driving west on Route 60 in Belle when he tried to make a right turn on East Dupont Avenue when the truck flipped on its side. The truck lost its load in the Shoney's parking lot along Route 60.

The crash happened just after 8 a.m.

State Police say they believe the coal shifted causing the truck to flip on its side.

The crash didn't cause any traffic problems. No one was hurt.
