UPDATE: Cement Truck Rollover Snarls I-64 Traffic for Hours

UPDATE 6/15/13 @ 1:00 p.m.
INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A cement truck rolled over and caught fire causing a traffic nightmare.

It happened about 3:30 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 64 East at the Institute exit.

It's still unclear what caused the truck to flip over.

The driver was taken to the hospital. No word on his condition.

I-64 has reopened to traffic.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The fast lane of I-64 East at the Institute exit is back open, according to 911 dispatchers.

All Eastbound lanes closed about 3:30 a.m., Saturday when a cement truck rolled over.

No word yet on when all lanes will be back open.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The eastbound lanes of I-64 are closed by the Institute exit, according to 911 dispatchers in Kanawha County.

Dispatchers say about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, a concrete truck rolled over -- spilling concrete onto the roadway.

The driver was taken to the hospital. No word on the driver's name or condition.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
