KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A couple charged in a child neglect case in Kanawha County could spend up to five years in prison.

On Monday, Paul Naylor and Kimberly Anderson both pleaded guilty to child neglect causing bodily injury.

The two were charged after investigators in St. Albans say Naylor's 9-year-old daughter told them he held a knife to her neck and threatened to kill her after police were told the home was filled with trash, animal waste, roaches and drugs.

The couple will be sentenced next month.
