KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A pregnant woman and a baby are being taken to the hospital after a crash, Sunday afternoon, according to emergency crews on the scene.
It happened about 2:30 p.m. on I-77 near the Chelyan exit.
West Virginia State Police tell WSAZ.com that the driver of a pickup truck was unable to stop quickly enough, and rear-ended a car.
Police say the increase in holiday traffic appears to have played a role in the crash.
The woman and baby were both in the pickup truck, and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
