ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man wanted in connection with an Ashland motel robbery last fall was arrested Tuesday in Charleston by the U.S. Marshal Service, according to information from Ashland Police.
Jamar D. Robinson, who is in his mid-20s, was awaiting extradition to the Southwestern Regional Jail in Logan County, W.Va.
Robinson was charged last November with the Oct. 5, 2012, armed robbery at the Ashland Inn Motel.
Investigators say he held up the motel in the 3000 block of Winchester Avenue with a semi-automatic handgun and got away with a little bit of cash.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for Jamar D. Robinson, 24.
He is being charged with the Oct. 5 armed robbery at the Ashland Inn Motel.

Police believe he is in the Tri-State area and say he is known to hang out at the University Apartments in Ashland.

Ashland Police say the Ashland Inn on the 3000-block of Winchester Avenue was held up about 6:10 a.m. Police say the man was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and got away with small amount of cash.
The suspect had a goatee and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark denim pants, and white beanie cap. Police also say he was about 5’7” and in his early 20’s.
