KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Kanawha County is facing charges after a domestic incident in St. Albans.
According to a news release, a woman called Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies after her friend posted on Facebook that she was being held against her will at her boyfriend's trailer.
Deputies went to Whispering Way Trailer Park in St. Albans about 6 p.m. Sunday and found a large group of people outside the trailer.
The group told deputies there was a disturbance going on inside the trailer, according to the release.
Deputies say Steven Adam Young, 19, of St. Albans, came outside to tell officers everything was fine inside his home, but as they continued to investigate, deputies found Tessa Dawn Buckner, 18, of St. Albans in the trailer.
Buckner told deputies Young hit her in the face with his fist, according to the release.
Young was charged with domestic battery.
