UPDATE: Fire Burns at the old Ott Building in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters have put out a fire at the old Ott Building in the 1000 block of Quarrier Street.

It started about 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Firefighters say fire damage was limited to contents first floor of the building.

Crews believe the squatters staying inside the building set the fire.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters are on the scene of a fire at the old Ott Building in the 1000 block of Quarrier Street.

It started about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The cause of the fire is unknown.
