Fire Starts in Abandoned House on Charleston's West Side

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire in what is believed to be an abandoned house caused quite a scene Tuesday night on the city's West Side.

The house caught fire just before 8 p.m. Tuesday along Wyoming Street, Charleston firefighters say. Neighbors reported hearing a loud pop and noticed downed power lines, in addition to the fire.

There is no word on what caused the blaze.
