FLATWOODS, Ky (WSAZ) -- One man's second chance is paying off in a big way, and that's the story behind a recovery rally.
Timmy Kilburn has been in and out of jail and admits to making many mistakes involving drugs and alcohol.
However, he has since turned over a new leaf.
A resident of Life's Second Chance Recovery Home in Flatwoods, Kentucky, Kilburn wanted to do something to give back -- so he started the rally.
Performers and motivational speakers were on hand for most of the day.
Kilburn says now that he's back on track, it's time to help others.
"If i could help just one person, just one, then I've done my job," Kilburn said.
The eight-hour-long festival wrapped up about ten p.m. Saturday.
Life's Second Chance Recovery Home has been around for about six or seven years.
