ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The former Shoney's location in St. Albans is getting ready to be torn down to make way for a new restaurant.
Crews will begin demolishing the building along MacCorkle Avenue on Dec. 30.
Shoney's closed the location earlier this year.
Doug Skaff, who owns the property, tells WSAZ.com five different restaurants are interested in the property, but nothing has been decided just yet.
Skaff says they hope to have a decision made by the end of January.
There is no word on when the new restaurant will open.
