Hartford Finishes Sewer Project

MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Residents in one Mason County town are breathing a sigh of relief, and one that smells much fresher.

The town of Hartford just finished a big sewer project. A ribbon cutting took place this weekend.

Work has taken place for nearly two years.

Five new sewer lift stations were reconstruction, new pumps were put in, and manholes and pipes were sealed to prevent leaks.

Of course, traffic will now be moving much more smoothly with the construction done.
