CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Capital High School student has been charged with bringing a gun to school.
Charleston Police say it happened Friday. They say administrators received a tip that a 16-year-old boy had a 9mm handgun in his backpack.
They called him into the office. Police say they found the gun, a clip and 10 9mm ammunition rounds.
The student has been charged with having a firearm on school property, which is a felony.
