UPDATE: Fire Destroys House in Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A fire destroyed a house in eastern Kanawha County on Monday.

The fire was reported about 8:45 a.m. at a house on Arizona Lane in Ohley.

Frank Miller tells WSAZ.com he woke up and saw smoke coming from a house next door where his brother, David lives. He ran outside and rescued his brother and his dog from the fire.

"There was a lot of smoke coming out of the attic. And I went in and got his attention, got him out, got his dog out," Frank Miller said. "The kitchen was plumb on fire. So I really don't know what happened."

David was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. His house was destroyed by the fire.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in Kanawha County.

The fire was reported about 8:45 a.m. at a house on Arizona Lane in Ohley.

911 dispatchers say the house is fully involved.
